Imaginäre Landschaften

The exhibition ‘Imaginary landscapes’, together with Louis D'Arienzo, Paul Langmead, Deborah S. Phillips, Akiko Wakayama and Wolfgang In Der Wiesche took place in Kunstverein Neukölln, Berlin, Mainzer Straße 42 from August 11th till September 23rd 2018. Various art impressions emerged from different meanings of the term ‘Imaginary landscapes’ . My contribution consisted of drawings showing elements of nature in simple monochrome forms. These images were born from intuition and the inner perception that everything in life is interconnected and therefore forms a unity. The expression ‘imaginary’ refers to the fact that it is our perception of nature which basically shapes every landscape, even if it exists only in our imagination.
